Memories.........

Today i attended a cultural show and went down the memory lanes............school , my first group dance , those teaching sessions , bunking classes , winning prizes , be it school annual day function, sports day ,regional level competitions or farewell party.....those days were just awesome. I have no words to describe.Back then we used to have the reel cameras, so pictures were taken and are preserved , unlike the digital ones today. In the hall today as soon as the dance programs started , many cameras and mobiles went up and kept flashing. These guys i felt are lucky , they would have so many pics to check tomorrow and cherish.I have lots of memories though. The best was my last group dance. It was in 11th standard , for farewell party to our seniors. The thought of it brings a big smile on my face.I am sure it will be same for Shashi (My companion then-- she was girl and i was her boy in that performance). That was the least prepared and worst performed dance. But most enjoyed !!! We both were unaware of last moment changes made in steps and were just orally told that too while performing. Sounds crazy right , but it was so that day.But after the goof up made we had a big blast of laughter , something which we still have till today. And as routine that day we had scolded one of our dear friend  for his reactions , we do it today also. (That guy should not feel bad par we felt u were jealous of our  stupendous performance and enjoyment we were having. :P :P ). Anyways those days are memorable forever and no length of blog can fullfill  the requirements. Would like to just share some of the pictures i have since even we started possessing the digital cameras.Enjoy the video. :)

The dictionary defines ‘Nostalgia’ as longing for something in the past. That is what I have been feeling a lot these days. And that is why the idea of a ‘Reunion’ excites me so much. Isn’t it a good idea to meet and laugh at our immaturity, laugh at the innumerable silly ways in which we used to debate and argue on marks, pencils and passing remarks on one another?

Time has turned all of us into mature adults. But let’s not forget the child in us. Let’s all reawaken the child in us and relive those moments that define us what we are now today. However much I wish I could be the school child I was and escape all the problems and responsibilities that we all face now; but it will remain a wish forever.

Time and tide wait for none. I don’t know about the tide but I have spoken with TIME and it says that it can’t be stopped but can be relived if we all collectively wish for. You all have made me what I am. I miss those days when we used to hit each other with chalks; when we used to go running towards the ground with a ball in hand as if there was no tomorrow. Needless to say, we have grown up but the child in us still yearns to be in School where we spent the happiest days of our life. School days were always cool days. Nothing more to it .
