FOOD

"I love eating...............I love cooking"...........
After a long long time i met a person who spoke about food in this manner. We had long discussions on food that day, hot favourite tastes ,likes and dislikes, tips on fast cooking, places to check out and a lot more.Food- the most essential part of our lives, without which we cannot survive, its for what we work hard.I feel good when i meet people who enjoy and love there food but feel sorry for those who don't and dislike those who curse cooking.Cooking - is some holy thing for me.Sometimes its even like a stress buster.Trying new dishes , making variations , learning the science of cooking is all fun.
I would like to share something i read about "FOOD" today,it can be a myth or can be called some superstition or say what may.But i felt it is true.I am writing this today because i was hurt to hear a mother of a small child saying " i hate cooking".I could not do anything then. The next few lines are what i had read some years back in a magazine............
We human beings cant live without food.We work hard the whole day only for feeding the stomach. Its the source of our energy. We eat and food fuels our body and mind. But this is all just superficial picture. How the food was cooked, how it was taken in makes a huge impact on our thinking process. If it was made with love and affection ,with good feelings in heart, the food when taken in will affect positively to the eater. It will lead to satisfaction. It will be a catalyst to the generation of good thinking and good deeds. If it is made with anger and hatred in heart, it will do no good. That is the reason why mother's food always gives satisfaction. It contains the most essential ingredient of love.
To close with this is just a small suggestion...........even if you dont believe in superstitions, if you are cooking, do give a thought to above lines.Who knows it all might be true...........

just pen it down...........

A desk full of files placed here and there, papers lying around, nameplate misplaced, rough papers scattered in front of desktop and pens and pencils out of the pen stand and the owner of the place hurrying up to finish the pending report.

Its not rare to come across these kind of situation. Most of us have either experienced it or see people around us trying to solve the jumbled equation of there life.I won't be wrong if i say it happens because there is clutter inside the brain and most of the time its uncertainty's about what to do,when to do and how to do.Sometimes the feelings inside us ,keep haunting so badly that we tend to forget about searching the solution. These kind of pressure filled situations need a vent.Either it can be sharing with your near and dear ones, some similar situation heard or read ,some tag line showing the way to proceed with. But there is one more way.A sure shot solution which surely can act as a lantern in the tunnel.Just write down what you are feeling like.Verbalise your problem.Pen down what you want.It works like magic.

Seeing what is on paper helps better way to focus on the problem in hand. Its like the aim is jotted down. And then makes one to proceed to the next step of solving the problem. There comes clarity as to what needs to be done.It helps in prioritising effectively and efficiently. And the best part of it being a non-judgmental ,100% trusted companionship.

I personally find my to-do list very handy. It just halves the burden.Recently i came across one such list of one of my colleague. To my surprise beside the list ,in bold letters like an order it was written -"just sleep".These lists can be very versatile.Anything under the sun can come into it.The most satisfying and comforting part is when the time comes to tick the finished job at hand. The feeling of accomplishment, the feeling of successfully achieving the goal is quite special one.
