That Giant Machine.........

Big and small metal chunks along with a nut and a screw , a drill and a tap , a scale and a blade ................casted , milled , drilled , cut , welded , bolted and aligned to function in a sequential manner ..........result????A MACHINE.

The word machine reminds me always of the scene pictured in the movie 3 Idiots. Two definitions for the same word. As they were defined, so is the world of Machines and there characters.Some are simple and some are so complicated ,yet discrete and work to the point. These gigantic machines are awesome master pieces in themselves.The mammoth machines work brilliantly making wonder full creations. I have been watching a few of them working.It was my turn today to control one such giant.A machine that could move about in 4 axis and create patterns of products.It was just a wonder full , exciting and adventurous process to learn the know-how and finally have the controls in hand. The way it carried out my instructions and moved forward left me in awe for some time.Being a mechanical engineer i have been studying about these machines , knowing there working patterns but handling them and having the hands on experience is just splendid experience.There are many machines i have been using and used.The two wheeler was my first love but this colossal is just incredible..........Just fell in love with it..................

Take a B R E A K ! ! !

A Break from the routine monotonous life, a break from getting more crushed under deadlines, a break from being trapped in rat race. I recently took one, and the hands on experience says,sabbatical taken finally end up in rejuvenating me. The need for ,was never felt in my student life but things have changed since the professional life has begun.Expectations increased, responsibilities doubled, credibility increased manifold.The new phase came with lots of experiences to learn from, changing the life. Life was bindaas in learning days.Life is strict when it came to put learning into application.A message which i recently received speaks out volumes about it in just two lines.It stated ..."We use pencil when we were small, now we use pen. This is because we can make mistakes and rub them then, now we are not allowed to."Thus as it goes , we are supposed to be very care full in our steps. One is supposed to be perfect.

I often get to hear people saying.....Life is so!!! Problems are part and parcel of it.Solve the puzzle and win the race.But then whats the fun if we are not enjoying the journey.Problems are not always so simple.Each one unique with its unique key id.Ohhh Lord u are great.thanks for making life so challenging and interesting.But i also pray to you, give me the strength to face them also.This time i learned taking a break is also a method to move ahead.When nothing works , just relax, disconnect yourself from the problem ,refill yourself with enthusiasm and then go back to the pavilion.It will surely help you come over!!!
